  1. Uni recommendations

    Hi Shweta

I took both my Certificate in Education and Degree in Education and Training with Oxford Brookes, it was some time ago but they may offer what you are looking for.  Here’s the link http://www.brookes.ac.uk/

  2. Further info

    Hi

You do not say at what level – undergraduate or postgraduate.  Also the range of topics seems quite broad, and there would be different recommnedations for education as opposed to organisational psychology.  Perhaps if you described what you hope to achieve or gain through studies this would help.  Also if you are looking for distance learning or purely face to face.

    Best wishes

    Ainger

  3. Thanks Angela and Ainger

Ainger – want to do a post-grad one but apparently my BA degree from India doesn’t hold me eligible for at least a psychology (clinial/organisational) one and that’s where my inherent interest lies. Not able to crack anywhere yet.

Post that, Organisation Development is the subject I would like to take up.

If you have relevant contacts, please assist.

    Thanks

    Shweta

  4. Thanks again Angela

Will do a lil more research about Roffey Park and may be PM you for more.

Also, is their MSc in collaboration with University of Sussex, it wasn’t very clear on their site?

  5. Options

    Hi

Yes indeed Roffey Park is probably the top name  for OD  with its People and Organisational Development MSc, although with a price to match.  In the UK the issue of doing a MSc in organisational psychology can be complex as they are often accredited by the BPS and so it is expected that entrants have a degree in Psychology.  your options then would be to take a masters in HRM and then specialise, take a masters related to organisational learning or take a masters in Organisational Psychology without gaining BPS accreditiation.

Kingston University has a well respected MA in Organisational Learning and Development, but which is primarily work based.  Ashridge has a masters in Organisational Consulting, Lancaster MA in Human Resource Development and Consulting, and Birkbeck, University of London a Masters in Organizational Psychology that are all well respected (I declare an interest in the last one due to involvement in this programme).  it all depends on what format you prefer (full time/part time, disyance/presencial) and your budget really.
