Interpersonal influence

default-16x9

At short notice I'm covering a session on Interpersonal influence. I have questionnaires but would appreciate suggestions for exercises. For 20 people. Thanks in advance !

  1. Different worlds
    hi Ann,
One I use to highlight the fact we view the world differently and then go on to talk about having to see the other persons world is to put 5 circles in a line, two with cosses in them, and ask them to write down what they see. Then take each first answer etc….. Hope it helps
    Cheers

  2. Inter-personal skills exercise
    Ann

An exercise you can adjust depending upon how many people are taking part is as follows:
break into syndicate groups and ask each to review areas that are relevant to your organisation, eg
    helping one another
    dealing with issues
    honesty and openess
    sharing success
    communication between people

You can add others that are relevant to the issues you face.
Ask the group to discuss and agree the three most important concerns relative to their issue
Then to determine what’s the best thing/s to do about it.
they then report back to the plenary group with a five minute bullet point presentation.

    I hope this is helpful.

I would be interested to see what your questionnaire looks like. If available, please ring me on 01484 401739.

    Regards.

  3. Thanks for help
Many thanks to all who offered help. The session went very well but unfortunately I have had email problems so haven’t been able to send my thanks until now.
