Interpersonal Skills for Management – Course Details Needed

I am looking for either courses and/or suppliers of Interpersonal Skills for managers of IT functions such as Support Desks. The focus should be on areas such as conflict management, non verbal communication, active listening, behavioural analysis and so on.

Ideally they should be between 1 - 3 days, available in London (either at our site or another location). Not worried about whether or not the course is scheduled or closed.

I will need references from customers who have taken the training so that I can speak to them about it's effectiveness and also a possible meeting to discuss exact requirements.

Timescales are fairly tight and any replies should be delivered by email no later than 31st May 2000.

  3. Interpersonal skills training
    Dear Graham

    PMSL specialise in Interpersonal skills training and have delivered many programmes in the areas of conflict resolution, active listening and non-verbal communication, etc. We run open courses regularly and would also be happy to design a course specifically for you, to be run in-house.

    A two or three day course would allow delegates the opportunity to practice applying the skills learned. We use exercises and examples that are relevant to the delegates’ work, eg, real incidents dealt with by an IT help desk. Our courses are structured so that delegates find it easy to trasfer the skills learned to the workplace.

    We are happy to provide references and / or full training evaluation reports.
