Interview questions

default-16x9

I'm meeting with a Sales Director for an interview for a Sales Training Manager role and I have been asked to respond to the following questions:

1. Applied knowledge in the use of the full range of modern multi media
approach coaching and training skills. What's new in training, what is considered best practice etc?

2.Experience in coaching/training a B2B multi channel sales force
(Major accounts and field sales)-

3. Experience in the same for complex sales situations

4. How she has measured or attempted to measure the £ impact for improving sales:

5. Smart ways to fill sales diary to hit quota.

One Response

  1. When is a trainer a salesperson??
You ask what kind of format, and then list the questions…are you sure you’re not just trying to get me to answer the q’s?

I’d use a straightforward powerpoint and throw in some current theories and best practice. The difficulty with this interview (and the interviewer) is they seem to be coming from the assumption that training can cure all their sale problems. I’d advocate a dose of realism. Dont give away all your secrets for nothing, its only an interview.
