Interview tests

default-16x9

Does anyone have a test to use at interview that will assess the competency of the applicant to construct an email (e.g. to a customer) and also test basic numeracy?

My client is a call centre manager recruiting internal sales staff. A key function of the role is to create and send emails to customers to answer queries. They need to be articulate, grammatically correct and accurate.

They could, of course, design their own test but initially wondered if amyone out there already has one that works well for them?

  1. Interview tests
My recommendation is always -design your own test to fit the role in your company. Each organisation has a unique culture and preparation for the test should reflect this and the expectation of tone and content. Suggest you design an assessment which gives several scenarios and ask the candidates to prepare specimen responses. Ditto any keyboarding and other tests should reflect the needs of your company’s day to day requirement from it’s employees. In my humble opinion something cribbed from another business really won’t do!

  2. Call Centre Assessment Day
    Colette,
I have a full day’s Call Centre Ass Doc: which includes in-tray exercise, numerical and verbal tests, and some other bits n’ pieces, may be useful?
Please email me directly to obtain a copy,
    regards
