   I don’t know of any courses but would recommend ‘Critical Chain’ by Eli Goldratt. ISBN 0-88427-153-6. Very easy to read

2. Project Management Courses

   My employer General Physics (UK) Ltd deliver Project Management Courses, it usually is a two day course, but can be tailored to content and length.

   I do some associate work for a company calle Fielden-Cegos. They run a number of public and in-house training courses on project management. These include a Project Manager Workshop, Project Team Managing, Fundamentals of Project Management and Advanced Skills in Project Management.

   We offer a variety of Project Management courses, including:
   – Stakeholder’s Guide to Project Management (one day course to introduce senior management to project management principles)
   – Project Management Overview (two day course covering technical project management, aimed at those who may be managing small projects or sub-projects)
   – Project Planning & Control (three day course covering planning & control techniques, aimed at new project managers)
   – Project Manager’s Toolkit (five day course covering both technical project management and other management skills via an extended business simulation)
   All the above can be run using entirely manual methods or using Microsoft Project where appropriate.
