Introduction to Quality

default-16x9

I am developing a training programme for production operatives that we are considering promoting to supervisor/team leader status. I am having difficulty with the 'quality/auditing' side of things as the majority of courses I have found assume an awful lot of prior knowledge. Our people will be starting from scratch and many will be very nervous as they won't have set foot in a classroom in 20 years. I am looking for a course that starts with the very basics. Any suggestions?

Huge area this. Have you thought of starting in the workplace instead of the classroom and working in to the classroom after a short period.
At Metis we work in this area and have helped a number of organisations. If you wish to talk about your needs in more detail call me or email me 0161 875 0100.

  3. Basic Quality/Auditing Training
Lucie, we at Quality System Services provide a whole series of Quality Training Courses designed for all personnel – irrespective of their previous experience or background. We would be extremely happy to discuss your Company needs and perhaps tailor something that would meet your requirements ?
Our range of services and our existing Training courses can be seen by logging on to our website http://www.qualitysystems.co.uk.
You will see that we provide 2 Courses in particular that are IQA-IRCA Registered – one is a 2 Day Internal Quality Auditor Training Course (designed for people with little or no previous knowledge) and the second is a 5 day Auditor/Lead Auditor Course (designed for individuals with some little previous background knowledge) – both of which, however, lead to the potential for your personnel to gain accepted qualifications and allow them to become registered with IQA-IRCA etc.
Additionally we have numerous other courses which introduce the basic requirements for Quality; and we are currently beginning to now advertise our new 2 day Transition Course which explains the new requirements covered in the BS 9000:2000 Series of Standards – so that anyone who may already have the basic knowledge of ISO9000:1994 can update their knowledge to meet the new standards.
We also offer Environmental (ISO 14001) Auditor/Lead Auditor Training.
