Invitation to run online workshops and courses

default-16x9

As the programme for TrainingZone's Learning Campus rolls out, we're looking for trainers eager to expand their expertise and audience by participating in the online workshop programme or the online tutoring programme.

Online workshop programme
Workshop's run every week. The present schedule includes a workshop every Tuesday but this will shortly be expanded to other regular slots at other times of the day and week. Each workshop is extensively promoted and participants can opt to receive a personal alert.

We're putting together the programme of one-hour workshops to run from April. Please let us know if you would like to run a workshop. We need to know:

- your preferred date; to avoid booked dates, please check the schedule first
- your workshop title
- a one sentence synopsis

Online tutoring programme
As part of the Learning Campus development (which will host a wide range of online learning and training opportunities), we're opening up some tutoring opportunities for trainers/coaches wanting to move online with their services. Proposals are invited to run short course tutoring programmes on a specific topic with the following features being made available:

- publicity for your course/programme
- an area of the Learning Campus devoted to each specific course
- short synopsis and date schedule for the course
- a simple registration form
- space for text, slides, other files to be downloaded to support the programme (e.g. reading, handouts, assessment material, etc.)
- short programme of scheduled workshops to support the course, led by the tutor (e.g. three 30-minute workshops on successive Fridays)
- coaching facility by email to/from the tutor
- and possibly an online discussion forum, if required

We provide the service free of charge to you. At this stage, we will not be charging users to participate; this will follow shortly within the more developed Learning Campus when you will be able to charge fees to users to participate in your online programmes. At this stage, we want to get the idea established; priority in the fee-earning Learning Campus will be given to trainers and coaches using the trial facility now.

So, if you're interested, please get back to us with
- a title and synopsis of your proposed programme
- whether you want files to be available for download, and an idea of how many
- whether you want online workshops, and an idea of how many
- when you might be ready to go with it

We can't guarantee you an audience for your chosen programme. The subject needs to be practical and attractive to bring in an audience. However, we feel this is a significant step for both learners and tutors and a great opportunity to gain experience.

To respond, please send all the information requested by email to editor@trainingzone.co.uk

You should also add yourself to the Learning Campus alert service so that we can keep you informed of future developments in this area.
