IT skills Perceptions

default-16x9

I am designing an online questionnaire to send to academic staff to find out what IT skills they think they possess now and also what level of IT skills they think they should have.

I'm trying to find research surrounding the areas of online questionnaire design and skills surveys.

  1. Research Methods for Business Students
You could do a lot worse than try Research Methods for Business Students by Sauders, et al. It covers all types of research methods, but is very good at questionnaire design, evaluation, etc.

  2. Getfeedback can help
Karen, Getfeedback are one of Trainingzone’s partners and we specialise in design and implementation of on-line questionnaires. Have a look at our site, http://www.getfeedback.net or email info@getfeedback.net. We can help you design the questionnaire, or if you have already designed it, we can help you implement it.

  3. Online Questionnaires Made Easy
When you are ready to go online Karen, you could try http://www.zoomerang.com which provides free questionnaire capability. Zoomerang has templates for numbers of different questionnaires and automatically collates the responses.
