IT Training

default-16x9

I am a freelance training provider, working from home & am self taught on my PC.

I need training but firstly need someone to tell me what training I need. Is there anyone local to me, or on-line, who will assess my needs first & then meet them-or point in the right direction?

Thanks

    First two questions are:
Where are you in the country?
    and
    What are your current qualifications?

  2. also……..
Karin, it would be useful to know what work you actually carry out on your machine, do you use spreadsheets, powerpoint, word, access, outlook express or any other software packages and what(if any)areas of these you feel you need developing

  3. For a good start on the MS Office suite
you might try InternetG courseware. (http://home.btclick.com/pitman.exeter/office_computer_skills_adv.htm – why it’s on BTclick I don’t know)

Even though i am a screaming activist, and love attending courses, this works for me.

Before each session there is a pre-assessment which would at least give you a starter for 10. And it is split into ‘basic’ and ‘advanced’ courses.

I was pleasantly surprised that I knew as much as I did.
