I have been assigned the job : positon evaluation for companies. I look around and find out there are some big company offering the service of job evaluation such as Hays, Mercer , Watson. Is there any one know clearly about these techniques and help me to do the task

Much depends on the size of your organisation…in other words you/they can invest a lot of time and money in an excellent JE system, which actually may be way over-the-top for your needs. I’ve been involved in introducing and maintaining various JE systems (include Hay) for many years, but I’d caution that there is no one right system, no ‘one size fits all’.

Is it possible to send me some information on job evaluation and its process please? I am currently studying for my CIPD and we have been asked to recommend a job evaluation software for implementation in a small pet store (87 employees). I have researched online and found various companies that offer tools for this purpose, however, any first hand knowledge of using job evaluation would be really appreciated.
