Key Account Management

default-16x9

I am looking into a Key Account Management course provider for our very high level BDMs in our Health Care organisation. I was wondering if anyone had come across some really good Key Account Management course providers, which was aimed at high level, strategic BDMs. Some things we would like to see is a company that only specifies in Key Account Management, they have effective ROI methods and there are different levels of courses.

Any help will be greatly received.

  1. Bespoke providers?
    Hi,

I do have an ex-colleague who was excellent at this sort of thing,
and certainly has the ability to produce a bespoke programme. I’m not sure what her current commitments are, but it may be worth checking her out at http://www.portfolio-info.co.uk.

Alterntaively, do a search on http://www.trainerbase.co.uk to find trainers in your area who have expertise in this area.

    Good Luck!

  2. I’m not sure it exists!
    Hi Kirsty

A client of mine was after KAM workshops for their Senior BDMs, they couldn’t find any providers!

I ended up writing a workbook and a workshop for them which was aimed at acually producing Key Account Action Plans.

This material was based on recognised best practice from the CIM and developed from a range of publications and guides.

I have now actually re-written the workbook to form the basis of a Management Guide that is about to be published on http://www.peoplealchemy.co.uk, when it is uploaded you will be able to check it out on that site as part of the free trial access.

The KAAP in itself provides a form of ROI and since the idea was to run a workshop to actually produce the plan itself, it is designed to cover a range of levels as a team.

    I hope that is helpful

  3. Dilemma
Hmmm…in my experience this surprisingly is not a well served area of training. Dilemma is that I provide exactly the type of training you are looking for, but should not promote it under the terms of this website. Contact details in profile if you wish to make contact!

  4. KAM
    Hi Kirsty

I am in the same boat as one of your other replies. Contact me off line if you want a chat – happy to send you the material I have anyway, Im not precious about it.
