The theme of this month's community focus on the ASTD site is Knowledge Management. This themed series of topics is an excellent way of exploring a less familiar issue in depth. On the site are various guides including background papers on such topics as: Trends in Workplace Learning; and 12 Principles of Knowledge Management.

Knowledge Management is regarded as one of the most important issues facing organisational management given the explosion in data availability and feedback mechanisms.

The site hosts an online peer exchange chat forum on 16 February.
