KnowledgePool launches new online Management courses

default-16x9

KnowledgePool has launched a new and comprehensive range of online management training courses. The courses cover leadership; team and personal development; communications skills; budgeting and finance; UK workplace legislation and customer service.

The highly interactive training includes audio and support features such as email tutor support; student chat facilities; assignments and frequently asked questions. The courses feature both written and spoken content from a panel of subject matter experts that aims to pose thought provoking questions. The panel also ensures that the theories and models used are in line with standard and up-to-date management thinking and terminology.

Designed as a flexible learning tool the courses can be used in two different ways;
- Tutorial mode – the user goes through the course from start to finish
- Just-in-time mode – individual elements of the course can be accessed to refresh and reinforce specific points

KnowledgePool has also developed a Management Skills Express portfolio, which includes over 100 bite-sized management, communication, personal, financial and business skills courses. The express courses are offered as small 'learning objects', each providing approximately ten minutes of interactive course material and a corresponding skills assessment. This format means that managers can acquire key skills in minutes on a just-in-time basis. New managers for example can quickly train in effective leadership skills and experienced mangers can refresh their memories about vital meeting management skills at very short notice. Users can also create their own training courses or curricula by mixing and matching courses.

Paul Butler, chief executive officer at KnowledgePool said, "Our online management skills courses are a cost effective means for organisations and individuals to gain the skills needed by today's manager. All courses in this portfolio will operate immediately with any browser and on any network, removing the need for specialist IT skills."

The courses are also available in a scaled-down format, for companies looking for access to comprehensive management courses over the internet but who do not have sufficient bandwidth to run the fully interactive programme.
