KnowledgePool, the worldwide training service provider specialising in IT, personal and management training, has been selected to provide mentoring and other student services to support Xebec McGraw-Hill's management skills library. Xebec's customers will now have the option to access KnowledgePool's mentor support via e-mail; chat rooms and student bulletin-board facilities as part of a total e-learning solution.
Through the addition of mentor support services and the access to the additional new resources this provides, Xebec McGraw-Hill aims to deliver even more effective learning and raise the performance level of those undertaking its courses.
By adding KnowledgePool's support facilities, students will be able to work in a more interactive and flexible manner. The mentor support programme enables individuals to work at their own pace, receive feedback to queries and issues, and share knowledge.
Michael Smith, Managing Director of Xebec McGraw-Hill, said: "There is considerable evidence that successful e-learning is closely linked to the level of support provided to the learner. By offering our customers a proven online mentoring service across a significant proportion of our core soft skills resources, we can help learners to enhance their understanding and enable trainers to offer a more integrated learning experience that accommodates different learning styles and needs."
