   …basically process improvement and continuous improvement.

   It comes in various levels or "Belts" eg green belt, black belt etc

   It should be delivered as part of the adoption of a six sigma culture, so for many businesses it is too much and too big, but the concepts are very good.

   No, I don’t do full six sigma…..just the "lo-cal/lite" version

3. Two different methodologies that work well together

    Six Sigma and LEAN are two different things though often combined. Six Sigma is about quality and LEAN is about efficiency. Russ is right about the qualifications being coloured belts, white, yellow, green and black. 

   Both are basically a set of tools to help you with improving either quality or efficiency 

   In terms of where to get training it depends what you are looking for and where you are. Are you looking for an in house course? I have a few contacts once you let me know what you are looking for.

   Thanks Craig. Mentor were looking at applying for a contract with a current client and bringing an expert in this area on board to deliver the training – however the moment has passed – but at least I know what it is now!
