Learning Log For New Starters

default-16x9

Hello everyone

I am in the process of putting together a 'learning log' for new starters. I am thinking of something along the lines of a document where they can record and review what has been learnt in their first few weeks and when they meet with their line managers for a review of the training so far they have something to refer to.
I have a few ideas - but I was wondering if anyone else had put something similar together and would be willing to share ideas for the content.

Thanks very much.

If there are NVQ standards for your particular area of need then I recommend you distill the evidence and knowledge requirements into a Skill Scan against which you can add columns for Can Do, Not confident and Can’t Do. I have examples for Mentoring and Business Administration if you’d like to see them. NVQ standards can be viwed by going into any of the awarding body sites. I am accreditted, so biased towards OCR, whic I think is a user friendly web site
