Ninety per cent of e-learning users say they would recommend it to others, according to a new study.

The survey for e.learning age found that 91% of users said that e-learning was an important option, 90% said they were able to use points from their course at work and 75% felt that e-learning had given them control of their own development.

“Linking Learning to Business” looked at the e-learning of 15 organisations covering a variety of sectors over 18 months and gathered information from 2000 users.

It found that successful e-learning organisations:
* Ensured the e-learning programme was visible to employees.
* Understood and developed learner motivation as a priority.
* Invested in learner support mechanisms.
