Legislation Update

default-16x9

I have been asked to structure a training programme for a group of staff who need detailed knowledge of fairly complex legislation.

The legislation is likely to change over the next 12 months and it is vital that the team retains up to date knowledge.

Does anyone have any experience of or suggestions for structuring such a programme?

Many thanks
Daniel McCarthy

  1. legisaltion update
what kind of legislation are you interested in covering? I can help you put together a short session on the latest developments in discrimination legislation.

I did have a brief once to introduce EU legislation to a group of buyers, and to ‘make it fun’…! We were successful by not teaching the legislation bit by bit, but by giving general overviews of the changes, and then allowing the buyers to explore different scenarios, which also included a summary of a piece of legislation to help them. With the group feedback session we explored the relevant bits of legislation that covered the scenario outcomes. Not only did they learn the law, but also how to apply it in real life. Once you got beyond the first 45 minutes, it was all interactive.
