I am putting together a 1:1 sales training session and I am looking for a simple exercise/activity to use that will highlight the importance of listening to what the customer is saying so that you can correctly understand their needs. I have lots of activities to use in group training sessions but I am struggling to adapt these to a 1:1 session. Any tips and ideas will be very gratefully received!

http://www.trainerslibrary.com have a fantastic Listening/Assumption (which a large % or Sales people do with customers) exercise, you can use in a workshop or 1:1 session, as I have done with this exercise.
It’s called Goldilocks and would work brilliantly for you,
