I am searching for any kind of information, thesis, book or published paper which investigates and proves the topic of Collaboration in Organisations.
Can anyone show any proof that Collaboration between teams and or key individulas provides better business results than the more customary competitive "Top Dog" Individualist culture that has been so prevalant.

I have most of the key books on team work and many on effective organisations but cannot find anything which really nails the fact that co-operation, collaboration and even networking truly pay off.
