Looking for Innovative and Exciting Speakers

default-16x9

We are a successful management training company that specializes in leadership and development training of IT Managers worldwide. In 2012 we are putting together an exciting programme of events for our network of professionals, most of which are from large and well known companies in the UK and Europe.

We have three morning sessions which we are looking to open up to new and exciting presenters. Presenters should be able to engage and enthuse an audience and bring a fresh and innovative perspective to a management topic or skill. We will be running the programmes at Henley Business School, Henley, Oxfordshire.

The sessions will be from 9.00-12.30 and should be interactive and participative. If anyone knows of such presenters please contact me for further details.

  1. Harnessing the power of your network

At the risk of being accused of blowing my own trumpet, I’d like to put myself forward for the sessions you are running at Henley.

We at Management Advantage specialise in teaching the communication skills that can so often be overlooked in the cut-and-thrust of corporate life. Our flagship workshop focuses on networking skills, and we work with many business schools in both the UK and the rest of Europe, as well as corporates both large and small. One client that might interest you, in particular, is City University – I regularly run a half day session for their Masters in Information Leadership programme.

Shall I send you some more information about what we can offer? And would you like to be put in touch with someone at City?

    Best regards,

  2. The audience collectively knows more than any speaker….

…….you could give them enormous value by helping them talk to each other. Have a look at Open Space Technology or the Unconference.

Many people say thet the best value of a conference or meeting comes from the conversations in the coffee break. These methods facilitate lots of very productive conversations.

And you don’t have either to find or pay for an expensive speaker!

    Best wishes,

  3. Half day session – information

    Judith,

We might be interested in a 1/2 day session, can you send us an illustrative outline of the session.

    Thanks,

    Simon

  4. Can I have some background info?

I certainly can send you an outline. It would help, though, if I knew a little about the programme that my session would form part of. Also, could I have an email address to send the information to.

  5. Innovative and exciting speakers

     Hello Simon

Our company can provide short 1/2 day sessions which capture the essence of leadership and management through the metaphor of music. We can bring a highly interactive session exploring the 3 key elements of music:- rhythm, melody and harmony and relating these in practical ways to everyday management skills – such as giving and receiving feedback; communication that counts; leading and building a team. We would be very happy to discuss this further. Our presenters are first and foremost qualified musicians and very experienced performers/ presenters who bring an energy, passion and enthusiasm to the event. We have worked with some very major global clients such as Citi. I look forward to hearing from you Simon.

    Regards

    Ian ([email protected])

  6. Malcolm Smith

I attended a half-day session on negotiation by Malcolm Smith a year ago. He meets your specification.

  7. Are you connecting, collecting or cashing in with LinkedIn?

    Hi there,

Happy to pitch in and offer to help if a high energy, interactive session around what LinkedIn does and indeed doesn’t do might be appropriate.

If a talk from an expert that has made over £10 million pounds worth of sales just from LinkedIn whilst in corporate life might demystify and get people to do the "things" that make it work might help?

Few people really understand how it works, what it can do, its reach, relevence and influence on indivduals and conmpanies recognition as credible, professional and reliable experts at what they provide. LinkedIn gives you ways to engage, to interact and to be successful.

As the largest business to business social network right now many people are present, nearly 40% of the business professionals on the planet, to be exact.

If a talk on that might be helpful I’d be happy to share a conversation, a coffee or a chat about that.

If you want some information about me, style, credentials and other "stuff" just check out my website, my own LinkedIn profile (http://uk.linkedin.com/in/thelinkedinman), my company profile on LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/company/the-networkcoach-limited) or just type my name and the word LinkedIn into YouTube to see some of the TV interview clips.

I would stress I am NOT a social media expert, I don’t so social media, the company only talks about and teaches LinkedIn and we have had the pleasure of working with huge globals right through to one man companies in over 40 countries in the last 12 months alone.

Always happy to share a chat and explore if I might help.

Good luck with the events and hope to speak soon.

    Best wishes,

    James
