Looking forward to Learning Technologies: Europe’s leading workplace learning event

We at TrainingZone are eagerly anticipating the Learning Technologies event in London. The jam-packed programme covers prominent topics such as AI and skills development, promising a valuable learning experience for L&D experts.

As Learning Technologies celebrates its 25th year and biggest conference yet, we at TrainingZone are proud to be partnering with the event.

Taking place at ExCeL London next Wednesday 17 April and Thursday 18 April, Learning Technologies boasts more than 30 conference sessions and in excess of 90 leading speakers and facilitators, not to mention the 1,000 conference delegates and 10,000 exhibition attendees from diverse industries worldwide  – plenty of networking opportunities with fellow L&D professionals!

What's on the content agenda?

There are more than 200 fascinating free seminars taking place, delving into the latest innovations, trends and best practices shaping the L&D industry. We’re especially looking forward to ‘From Disruption to Opportunity: How L&D Can Stay Relevant in an AI-Transformed World’ with Kasper Spiro, Co-founder & Chief Learning Strategist – Easygenerator and ‘Yesterday's Tomorrow: Navigating the Overdue Revolution in L&D’ with Huler’s Learning Strategist Rob Ashcroft and CEO & Co-Founder Nicky Hoyland.

Given that female empowerment is a topic close to our hearts, we’re also excited to attend the lunchtime conference session on Women in learning chaired by Sharon Claffey Kaliouby, with Alice Thompson – Marks and Spencer and Catherine McGaw-Pratt – Infosys Consulting.

Key conference themes this year are skills, talent and learning, future L&D, AI, data and analytics, learning experience design and programme implementation. With AI having a huge impact on the learning experience, we’re looking forward to hearing from Egle Vinauskaite and Markus Bernhardt on AI in L&D in their session ‘Where are we, what's changing and what should you do?’ and attending David Perring and Myles Runham’s session ‘Transforming the Learning Team in 2024: AI, innovation and why learning will never be the same again!’.

The latest L&D tech, trends and best practices

The event’s immersive exhibition is designed for L&D professionals and will include more than 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies, learning solutions, hands-on features, innovation and best practices.

Testament to the event’s impressive agenda and attendee list is some great feedback from previous attendees. A learning solutions professional from BT Consumer said: “The free seminars and learning sessions were great, and I loved seeing demos from different vendors. It was amazing to be in the same hall as people from across the profession and be able to see what they're doing and how they're doing it. Can't wait until next year!”

Given the ever-evolving nature of the L&D landscape, it's important to embrace the latest trends to remain competitive and events like Learning Technologies provide a valuable opportunity to stay informed. We’re looking forward to being inspired by witnessing the transformative potential of learning technologies in action and hope to see you there!
