I have been asked to place a recruitment advertisement for an experienced trainer for a client (who does not want to use a recruitment agency). He wishes also to advertise both online and in print. What titles should I consider for the latter?

  1. Some suggestions
Personnel Today do carry some training ads but it is by no means a strong point, likewise People Management (they will also more than likely cost a fortune and go to a predominantly HR audience).

T-Mag, and Training Journal both carry recruitment ads if I remember correctly- but be aware of audience bias (i.e. match the skill need with their respective audience). If it’s IT training then think IT Training Magazine or consider one of the IT publications like Computer Weekly.

Understandably I think I could recommend a very good online alternative……

    Hi Wendy,

Richard does have point in his final statement! However, why not look at the profiles here first? You are in the right place for seasoned training professionals and this may well save you time and lots of money!

Moreover, you can gauge the quality of peoples’ knowledge and attitudes, to a certain extent; from the comments and assistance they have given in this forum.

    Good luck with your search.

    Kind regards,

    Clive
