1. Suggestions …
   Hi Gra, have you spoken to anyone in your organisation about specific issues relating to H&S? I’d be inclined to speak to people you work with as they may in fact have a concern or issue which you could research and present your findings to your employer. You don’t need to spend long with these people, just ask for a couple of minutes of their time to pick their brains on how your report may assist them. 🙂 Does that help?

2. Management Reports

   Hi Claire

   Thanks a mil for gettin back to me!

   There is no-one i can talk to this week as they are out sick, but i think maybe i shudnt do Health and Safety im jst so confused as my supervisor isnt helping me much, i wanted to do absenteesim first but they said no point doing that topic as im in the construction industry, would i be as well of to do something lik Redundancies or Employee turnover and Retention?

3. Management Report
   Gra,

   Both the topics you’ve highlighted are massive so maybe your supervisor’s trying to do you a favour by getting you to focus on a specific aspect that can realistically be covered by a management report.

   I’m guessing you’re involved in the day to day work of the organisation so should have picked up some indication of the kind of issues that are around for them at the moment, which by being the subject of a management report, would benefit both you and the organisation?

   Go out and ask someone a question like “what HR/people problem do we have at the moment that if solved could make a real difference to the success/performance of organisation” and I’ll guarantee you’ll get some ideas.
