Many of the best known management training providers seem to hold their courses almost exclusively in London. What do people with staff from Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh etc do? Can anyone recommend a provider of public/open courses with a really good offering in the north of the country?

You ar not alone with the difficulty in sourcing good courses. I started my company specifically to address the lack of open, affordable courses in convenient locations (i.e. not London)and can provide training throughout the country. We put on open courses using high quality trainers where we find a demand. We also help companies generate income from in-house training they may put on.
If anyone else has experienced difficulty in sourcing open courses I’d love to know what, where and when.

Have you tried the Chamber of Commerce in the nearest cities to you? Those in Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow etc used to offer regular open course programmes including management training. Those that don’t do the training themselves can usually point you in the direction of local providers.
