Managing Change in the Workplace

default-16x9

I am running a session on Managing Change in the Workplace for a group of new young managers.  Does anyone have any lively interactive exercises to use that will help them to understand/appreciate the different responses to change and how to deal with them?  They will be managing people who may well be feeling rather jaded with the amount of change they have been through already.

  1. The Marching Game

There is a super activity by Fenman called ‘The Marching Game’, which is active, fun, but has a very serious message how change should be introduced, and why people can be resistant. It takes about 30-40 minutes and is run in 2 parts. I think it will be exactly waht you need.
