Managing remote teams

Managing remote teams requires training on communication tools, performance metrics, and team engagement strategies. Key training areas should cover asynchronous collaboration, time zone management, and maintaining company culture across distributed workforces.

I would like to know of any training providers that people can recommend that write this type of course which we could then take on and run in-house ourselves. Are there key areas that are “must-haves” to be included?

With regard to your must haves in the course you may like to have a copy of my article on home-working many of the principles of which relate to remote working and the management of such workers. From the principles a workshop could be developed.

It has been published on this website last week and HR Zone but I can send you a copy if you email me at info@sjbealehrconsult.co.uk

  2. what type of event are you looking for?

are you looking for a “how to” course that is fairly prescriptive or are you looking for something more interactive and oriented at the challenges of “leading” a remote team and the team working between team members?
If the latter I did something for BP a couple of years ago that was very successful. Let Me Know if you want further details.
