MCSA exam due for release January 22nd.

'Managing a Windows 2000 Network' exam (70-218) is due to be released January 22nd. This is a core exam required for the Microsoft Certified Administrator (MCSA) track.

The requirements for MCSA are:

One of the following core client operating systems exams:
· Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional. (70-210)
· Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional. (70-270). Due for release.


One of the following core networking systems exam:
· Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 server. (70-215)
· Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft.NET Server (70-275)
(due for release)

One of the following core Networking Systems exam:
· Managing a Microsoft Windows 2000 Environment (70-218)
· Managing a Microsoft Windows.Net Network Environment (70-278). Due for release.

One of the following elective exams:
· System Administration for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. (70-028)
· Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5. (70-081)
· Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Systems Management Server 2.0. (70-086)
· Implementing and Administering a Microsoft windows 2000 Network Infrastructure. (70-216)
