Mentoring schemes in Higher Education

default-16x9

I am currently completing a research project examining factors which facilitate effective mentoring in a Higher Education. Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education currently operate a mentoring scheme for newly appointed staff. The scheme is currently under review in the hope that it can be further developed to meet needs of a wider range of staff. I am particularly interested in the development of the existing scheme for academic staff taking on management roles. I am unaware of existing scheme of this nature and would be most grateful to hear from anyone who may be involved in this type of initiative, or may be able to provide some useful contacts in this arena.
