Microsoft A1 MOUS Certification Ending

Microsoft have decided to abolish their Microsoft Officer User Specialist Authorised Instructor programme, the certification will cease to exist as of 30 June, 2001.

Microsoft have not made an official announcement to date, however the information is available on the official website Microsoft Training and Services.

As of 1 July, 2001 Microsoft will offer a new certificate in replacement of MOUS A1, details of which may be found at the MOUS Master Instructor Certificate website. There is also a comprehensive list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the new certification, plus an explanation of why the existing MOUS A1 certification is being replaced and information for existing members of the MOUS A1 programme on how changes will affect them.
