TenCORE
Years ago there was a CBT authoring language called TenCORE (anyone remember it?) which could very easily evaluate free-form sentence answers to questions. But I haven’t seen it for a long time.

qbd software are developing a test-authoring package to test K&U with detailed analysis and tutoial comment. A wide variety of question typescan be used and tou can set the basis of test operation and analysis yourself.

Free multiple choice utility
We have a free, small utility program that you can download from our web site (www.engineeringweb.co.uk) that allows you to enter your own multiple choice questions by simply editing a text file. It is very basic but will sit over other pictures, programs etc.
It was produced using MMF which is very powerful but not very expensive, from £69.00.
