Communication circle

The communication circle that I think you are after is by Dr Albert Mehrabian in 1972 at UCLA.
The words that I use are ; body language 55%, tone (of voice) 38% and words 7%.

when i came across this the author qouted was robert birdwhistle 1971 who produced these figures during a research study and is used in nlp in creating rapport and non verbal communication during a training run by tad james 1999 could probably look up more info if your interseted
