New approach to video coaching

default-16x9

I have operated a successful soft skills training and coaching consultancy for over 10 years. The recession has finally given me time to realise a long held ambition to make soft skills development available to a much wider audience. After all, becoming as effective as we can in our face-to-face dealings with others is applicable to all jobs and all levels. I am in the final stages of developing a new soft skills streaming video service which can be used as a 'just-in-time' rescouce, a preliminary activity before a traditional course, or just to delve into for a specific skill or strategy. It would help me enormously if anyone has the time to look at my website and give feedback on the videos by clicking on the free 7-day preview link on the homepage. The site is http://www.videocoaching.tv/login.aspx

  1. Your site wants more
This may be petty but when you said that to help out on your trial your sign in needed just your first name and an email address – I took you literally. But in fact you cannot sign on to the trial without full details including no. of employees etc.

Sorry this is a turn off, a trust issue and I did not go any further

  2. Content
I did sign up and had a look at a few of the videos.

I am not questioning the professionalism of the speaker but this can be found on any video web site for free. None of the content was particularly groundbreaking so I’m not sure who would find any use for it?

That why I’m not investin…ammm ooot!

Thanks for inviting feedback and good luck with it.

Apologies. This is a new platform and I hadn’t realised that all fields need to be completed to activate the trial. Clearly, I should have tried it myself! The offending sentence has been removed.

If anyone requires a trial without having to supply the information requested, simply send me your email address.

  4. VideoCoaching
    Hi, Bob
I looked at Relationship Selling. As trialists are restricted to only 4 minutes my review is pretty limited. The introduction to this topic is 8m37s and having reached only half way through I was thinking it a bit long. Your presenter may also want to address the different camera angles rather than maintain the forward look throughout. Didn’t see any evidence of “coaching” so wondering how this will work in subsequent sessions.

Have you thought about partnering with Martin Shovel? See https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/item/184720 for a great example of their work.

    Good luck

  5. No trial video
    Hi Alan

Pity there isn’t a trial video on the Creativity Works web site.

I visit so many sites every day I really don’t want to sign up to every one I visit.

Without a trial of what the company does I rarely go further than the front page.
There are so may people working in this field and all basically doing the same thing (did I just say that!!!) I think having a good shop window is essential so well done to Bob for allowing us to see what its all about without commitment to buy.

    Regards

    Steve
