A new Virus has appeared on Friday named after the Disney character Donald Duck, once again originating from the Philippines and bears a resemblance to the Love Bug. It appears with a subject line erap estrada which is the nickname of the Philippine President Joseph Estrada.

According to the Infrastructure Protection Centre, this Virus is actually a Trojan Horse that arrives as an e-mail attachment. Once the attachment has been opened, a file called DonaldD.trojan is executed and like the Love Bug can collect user names and passwords from the victim.

Currently the Trojan horse is mainly in the Philippines and it is stated that up-dated commercial anti-virus software will detect the Trojan.
