A new Training Directory service on the Internet claims to be "the way in which training will be bought in future". The service, due to launch last March with much media publicity (- have you seen any? -) claims that will will list 30,000 providers and up to 100,000 providers. At the moment the site is "under construction" with a freephone number for enquiries. I'll wait to see!

trainingdirectory.co.uk has changed significantly since it’s launch on 13th April 1999 at the HRD Week, Olympia in London. It is estimated that from 30,000 plus suppliers of courses, products and services into the training industry sector, there will be in excess of 100,000 courses (not providers as listed) and related services and materials from which browsers/searchers can select in the very near future. There are already in excess of 22,000 courses alone and 100,000 is our immediate target.
