I am reviewing our appraisal process and I am interested in exploring the option of an on-line appraisal system for the recording of objectives/achievements/development opportunities/learning needs/career aspirations etc. This wouldn't replace the performance discussion itself but act as a tool to assist appraiser and appraisee in their recording and preparation. It would also be great if the system some how flagged any learnings to me.
Does anyone currently use one that they would recommend?

Try AT-Learning or AT-Performance.
These were systems that I came across working on assignment in the NHS. They are capable of being fully integrated with other systems and provide good price/performance stats.
