One to one questions

default-16x9

Hi all

We have agreed to conduct regular staff 1-1s for a client as a way of conducting employee satisfaction surveys. I would like them to be consistent so am looking for some help putting the questions together. I also want some form of scoring so we can track results over time. Does anyone have any examples of survey questions.

Thanks in advance

Sue

  1. satisfaction with what?
    Sorry to appear obtuse Sue but in what areas does the client want you to measure the staff’s satisfaction;
    Management style
    salary
    benefits
    products and services
    facilites
    policies
    training and development
    company cars
    image or whatever.

I know this might sound insulting but I was tasked to “do and employee satisfaction survey” some years ago and the management were then very unhappy when they found that the satisfaction level wasn’t very high; their complaint was that the wrong things were being measured!

Sorry if this doesn’t seem to help much

  2. Subject matter
    Hi Rus

Sorry, I should have been more specific!

It’s a small company – 12-15 employees and the owner wants to know if people aren’t happy and if not, why. He feels it will be more open and objective if we do it rather than him or the Manager. It’s around:
    General morale
    Relationships with colleagues and managers
    Level of work
Level of technical expertise – actual and needed
    Management styles

    Hope that makes sense

    Sue
