Online marketplace

default-16x9

I am looking to find some research that covers adults using online learning for themselves not at work. I would love to know who are the big players in the market for home users etc. Any ideas? thanks

  1. On-line providers for personal use
    Hi Hannah
To my knowledge the only real ‘big’providers in this market are:
    1) learndirect
    2) BBC
    3) Microsoft
    4) OU
    5) open college network
    6) ICS

There are a lot of small(er) providers supplying e-books – this is probably the majority of e-learning in reality.

  2. ELearning Guild
The ELearning Guild is a good source of ELearning information – you may be able to get onto one of the communities there or use some of the research available. Here is the web site address:
http://www.elearningguild.com/. You may need to sign up but there is a free option and I have found this forum very useful in the past. Hope this helps.
