Positive Action Training

default-16x9

I've been asked to find out what positive action training the organisation might need (local authority with 13,000 staff!).

Previously Springboard (confidence building for women) was run quite successfully but the last time positive action training was done, we apparently struggled to get enough learners.

Any suggestions/ideas how I go about it?

You should carry out a normal training skills audit against the benchmarks advised by any of the 3 equality commissions. Alternatively find a good training consultant who can help you. We used one and it paid off dividends

Finally, why not have an exhbition or open day about the issue in all its formats and guage reaction

Some great advice from Jennifer. I’ve worked with a consultant called Dr Marie Stewart – she’s very impressive.

She’s worked with public sector organisation and is a fairly well known keynote speaker on diversity issues.
