Post entry interviews

default-16x9

I am currently looking into giving post entry interviews at the 3 month stage. I would welcome any advice on this subject from people who have experience in designing, delivering and analysing post entry interviews, or some good resources to try.

  1. New Hire Interviews
I conduct a follow up meeting with new employees after c 3mths employment, this forms part of our Induction package. I find its much more meaningful than when they first join as the new employee at this stage know much more about the Company etc. The areas of discussion are:

    The purpose of the interview:
 Ensure that the induction process has been successful.
 Give the employee a further opportunity to clarify issues about the job or terms and conditions of employment.
     Ensure objectives are understood
 Begin to identify training and development needs.

    1. Since commencing employment with the Company, is the Company what you expected it to be?

    2. Since commencing employment with the Company, is the job what you expected it to be?

    3. Are there any actions from the Induction process which remain outstanding?

    4. Has all necessary administration concerning Company benefits taken place?

    5. Are your work objectives clearly defined?

    6. Are there any training & development needs that have been identified
