I'm looking for a fun and easy to read book about Presentation Skills. Something along the lines of "Who move my Cheese?" It's to recommend to a coaching client to support them when delivering Presentations.
Any ideas??
Thanks
Barbara

Presentation Zen
I’m not familiar with ‘Who Moved My Cheese’ but my favourite Presentation Design/Delivery book is ‘Presentation Zen’ by Garr Reynolds:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Presentation-Zen-Simple-Design-Delivery/dp/0321525655/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1284472313&sr=8-1
Have you looked at these books?
If you are looking for a book that is written like a short storey (like Who Moved My Cheese) I would recommend something written by Ken Blanchard.
A book that I read that helped me out was "Real Leaders Don’t Do Power Point".
Some longer reads I would recommend that the authors have created resources on their website (one of which is all about presentations). Would be "Made to Stick" and "Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard" by Chip & Dan Heath
A humorous (and useful) look at presentation skills
May I humbly recommend my own book (co-authored with my brother): Presenting with Style: Advanced Strategies for Superior Presentations. It’s available at amazon.com.
Or you can find out more on my web site: http://www.standuptrainer.com

Successful Presentation Skills
Still one of the best books on the market for this subject is I think Andrew Bradbury’s: Successful Presentation Skills

Best Presentation Skills Books?
Depends what you are really looking for – but two excellent ones are by Eric Jensen: Sizzle & Substance or Superteaching. Delivering Training by Suzy Siddons is also a good book.
To be honest – if your coaching client needs to improve their presentation skills – then they really need a Presentation Skills course – it can be pretty hard to learn skills from a book (although not impossible by any means!). As an alternative to a course – I’m sure you/they could find a decent coach who could offer a 1:1 session (and I’d suggest maybe phone coaching might be an start point to establish what is needed).
Lots of other good books around, but I’d start with any of the above – Jensens in particular!
Hope this helps,
Paul
