  1. Project management recommendations
    Hi Kara,

I attended a two-day principles of project mgt course earlier this year in London offered by Marcus Evans.

A good introduction to methodology, planning, reporting, risk , etc. and quite interactive (certainly not boring).

I can dig out their details if of interest.

    Regards,
    Neil

  3. good book
    Hobbs, P

I used this book and learned a lot about roles, responsibilites, budget, time and task management. It was easy to follow and use rather than just theory. Its not a course but it was a great resource for me.
    best wishes

  4. PM Training
I’m not sure if it’s the done thing to promote your own courses but we can provide a bespoke PM course / workshop delivered by an ex project manager. The course is highly participative and is centred around a practical scenario. Please contact me on 01244 220015 for further details.

  6. PM Training
I would recommend one of our own in-company courses. Participants will practice the skills of project management using case studies and their own work examples. Peer group feedback will be encouraged, coupled with tutor-led reviews. Over the two days the participants will build a ‘tool box’ of project management techniques enabling individuals to more effectively initiate, define, plan, manage and review projects. It will also assist in developing the leadership and team synergy so vital to successful project outcomes. Certainly not boring and definitely challenging.
