Project Managment for training development

default-16x9

Hi I am looking for a simple but effective project management tool for developing training, both elearning and face to face.

It needs to be used both to manage multiple inputs to the training and to be easy to make visible to other stakeholders. Many thanks, Bruce

  1. Mind Mapping
Indeed Mindjet MindManager is a great solutions. Check out wikipedia for mind maps and you get the latest list of suppliers.

Unlike what most people think, mind map software are no longer just for mind maps. They provide a lot more. For example OpenMind has build-in tasking, MS Project style scheduling, trees, Work Breakdown Structure and so on. Mind Manager on the other hand also connects to office for tasking, appointments, or even embedding live excel sheets directly into you mind map. In short these are first level software apps that once you start using, you will always have them running on your computer much like your browser or you file manager.

    Highly recommended tools.

  2. keep it simple..
If all project workers have access to the same computer network, what is wrong with outlook? the task manager is a powerful too with follow-up, task tracking diary/ meeting management etc – its much more powerful than people realise.
