Hi I was not aware that they are being scrapped as I am looking into accessing a CTTLS course. Can you let me know were you heard about this as I would be interested. Thanks
PTLLS and CTLLS
Unlikely to go before 2014, as the consultation is ongoing until December, it will report sometime next year then awarding bodies will have to create new qualifications
Revocation of legislation
Hi all
The 2007 legislation that was the foundation of the qualifications was revoked on 30 Sept 2012 as a result of a consultation that took place earlier this year.
Conversation with the authors of the interim report earlier this year confirmed to me that PTLLS, CTTLS and DTTLS were in effect now obsolete.

PTTLS
We ‘bolt-on’ an overarching qualification for the various roles in our business, e.g. team leaders go for L3/4 ILM and our tutors work towards a PTLLS after initial induction.
Having read these comments, I’m wondering what we should replace the PTLLS qualification with. It is important that we enhance employability and performance skills as well as keeping the qualification totally relevant to today’s market.
I’d appreciate any advice.
