Quality – ISO 9000:2000 Training

default-16x9

Could anybody give me details of suppliers of training in the area of ISO9000:2000, any related new legislation that goes with it, and any related courses for a person who would have the role of quality manager?

Thanks

  1. Qualificatins for quality managers
There is an NVQ Level 4 in quality management as part of the National Standards for managers

  2. Quality System Services might be able to help.
Try QSS in Sheffield 0114 261 8899. I’ve used them in the past. If they can’t do what you need they might be able to put you in touch with another supplier.

  3. Formal ‘Quality’ qualification
    Martin,
If you don’t mind undertaking formal study, via distance learning, then Sheffield Hallam University have an excellent course (MSc) in Quality Management, which includes the quality standards such as ISO 9000 etc.
Go to http://www.shu.ac.uk click on distance learning, scroll through the alpahbetical list of courses to “Total Quality Management and Business Excellence”.
It will take up a fair bit of your time, but if you have the committment and your employer is prepared to fund you, it will give you everything you want – and more.
If you wish to contact me for further details about my own experience with the course then e-mail me at [email protected]
    regards

  4. Quality Management Training to ISO 9000: 2000
I noticed that one of our previous satisfied clients already responded to your request by providing our name and telephone number and I suspect by now that you may have already discussed your needs with our Head Office in Sheffield.
You should, however, be aware that we are one of only 14 organisations throughout the World who currently have a 2 day course registered and approved by IRCA covering the requirements for Transition to ISO 9000: 2000 series from the previous 1994 versions.
This course is primarily aimed at Auditors but is equally important for System Creators and Implementers who wish to design their systems around these new standards and the new ISO 19011: 2001 Auditing standard etc.

We are able to tailor a course using the extensive data that we have researched by study of the new standard for any type and size of organisation. If you have not yet tried us then please make contact by ringing 0114 261 8899 or my own number 01457 863671
and also take a look at our website for other courses that we run (related to Quality, Environmental and Occuptaional Health & Safety Courses etc.) http://www.qualitysystems.co.uk
