Questionmark and THINQ integrate products

default-16x9

THINQ Learning Solutions, Inc., a provider of enterprise learning solutions, today expanded an existing relationship with online testing software company, Questionmark
Corp. THINQ customers can now purchase Questionmark(tm) Perception(tm)testing and assessment software as part of the THINQ TrainingServer® Learning Management System (LMS).

Questionmark, with more than 1,100 Perception customers, offers the learning industry's most comprehensive set of online assessment capabilities, including authoring, reporting and analysis tools. With Perception software, THINQ customers can easily and cost-effectively create online tests directly through the THINQ LMS. Tight integration with the THINQ LMS yields more features - including a secure browser option and user-by-user question
randomization - than most LMSs' internal testing capabilities.

The combination of THINQ and Questionmark technologies offers capabilities beyond the tests themselves. Companies can capture and analyze test results and produce customized reports on any set of variables. Test results can also be used to automatically prescribe customized curriculums or identify employees best suited for certain projects. A sales executive, for example, could administer online tests before and after an orientation class for newly hired sales people to determine the best learners and highest-performing recruits.

"As a THINQ TrainingServer LMS customer, as well as a Questionmark Perception user, we are looking forward to the rollout of the joint solution," said Gerry Tompkins, a Citibank vice president who is responsible for the development of self-instruction materials for Citibank's training and development in Latin America. "We have found that using Questionmark's software for testing and assessment saves us time and money and provides our users instant test scores, and of course the LMS is vital for launching content and registering students for classes. We are very pleased that these two products that we rely on to manage and track training for our employees will be offered as a combined product."

Questionmark and THINQ have worked together to create a unique configuration of Perception that directly addresses the business needs of THINQ's enterprise LMS customers. For example, this configuration includes browser-based authoring for the distributed creation of assessments, a common practice in large organizations. Questionmark normally sells browser-based authoring as a separate item for additional charge.
