Rapid/Effective Reading

default-16x9

I am putting together a one day workshop on Rapid/Effective Reading workshop to take place on 12 February.

I have trawled through websites of suggested books all of which look worthwhile and interesting and have ordered the Tony Buzan book as well as the Tina Konstant "Speed Reading" book.

I could really do with some innovative ideas about how to run the workshop and the content it might have.

Some years ago I used an off-the-shelf training pack published by Xerox Learning Systems (they have changed ownership/name since then and are now Achieve Global) called “Effective Reading”. There was a pre and post test, various exercises to improve fixation and technique. You also used a selection of books for practice sessions. I still have some details. If you are interested, please e-mail me. Alternatively, check if it is still available by contacting them on 0208 322 4000. Good luck. [email protected]

    Peter,

You can either reinvent the wheel, buy a pack off the shelf or invite someone (me please) to do it for you.

I have been running these courses for many years now and guarentee to have all students at least double their speed without loss of comprehension.

The course last one day and the pack comes with two books + two audio cassettes.
For more information on how we can help please call me on 01784 44 04 04

Or call the Institute of Management who use me for their in-company courses, open programmes and third party assingments.
