I'm looking for some training that will enable individuals to recognise good networking opportunities. Using networking for business development / marketing. Does anyone know of anything?

Communications in Action and Warwickshire College

Communications in Action (www.ciauk.com) run a course on Networking Skills as part of their Business Skills Training Programme in association with Warwickshire College. (If you are not local, I am sure theu can bring it out to you!).
