   Not an easy one! If you’d like to give me a call I can certainly share what I know. Training is quite a unique market place that major commercial mainstream agencies have had difficulty in assessing and penetrating- However some do exist! There are also some very good alternatives…the prime one being the valuable resource that is successful networking. TrainingZone.co.uk is designed to help facilitate this, and will increasingly become a focus for the development of an interface between the Training/Learning community and the commercial market place. Hopefully in this way we can look at helping to bridge ‘that’ gap.

3. Trainer Recruitment
   The two I have seen with loads of trainer jobs on are gojobsite.co.uk and planetrecruit.com. I would say, however, that quite a few of the jobs are for IT or telecomms Trainers, so if like me you are a sales Trainer, you’ll need to do some scrolling!

   They claim to be the only national staff agency specialising in traiinng staff across all sectors.
   However I have been registered with them for over a year and have not so far had any work from them.

5. Further Comments
   It would appear that there is a significant gap in the market place here! We are forming commercial partnerships with organisations that are or plan to provide these kinds of services- keep an eye out for announcements. Obviously we are NOT a recruitment organisation, but we also appreciate that not all our members have large marketing budgets to promote this aspect of their business!

   There are very effective ways of maintining a longterm, low cost, high profile presence within the community- YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A MAJOR PLAYER OR A HUGE ORGANISATION TO GET GOOD EXPOSURE!

   Training and Learning professionals know how their market place operates, and know what their colleagues are ‘like'(!). If you are thinking of, or are in an organisation that looks for trainers for 3rd parties (similar to a recruitment consultancy) please contact myself and see how you can assist fellow TrainingZone members find their next contract.

7. Finding it Hard to obtain work in the training field.

   Hi,

   Like Lisa I am finding it difficult trying to find agencies that specialise in finding work for training, I am also find it hard networking with people that could alternatively help me to find or obtain a suitable contact.

    

   Can anyone help me with this problem (I specialise in Customer Care and Self Development).
